Velvet Harmony Singing Course

Velvet Harmony's course was six weeks, hour and a half per week with attendees and chorus members together for the whole session.

Newspaper advert. This was used in a local free newspaper - one insertion in two area editions. The paper reaches 190,000 homes and the ad cost about £700. It generated about 60/70 responses.
A poster that went to all the local libraries. It also appeared in golf clubs, singles clubs, supermarkets etc.
Publicity flyer. This went, with a letter, to everyone who responded to an an advert. It explains the course in a bit more detail. It was also inserted in 200 copies of the Bromley Arts Council Autumn Program which goes to members of that organisation. The program also had a small entry in both the courses and the events section.

The set of course notes. This was included in the pack that everyone received on their first night. It included a badge, music, learning CD, a flyer about the club and these notes.
This is a handout about the club that went anyone who showed any interest in joining. It was designed so that people would know what they were getting into.
