This Stream provides an opportunity for a quartet to be coached by the Harmony College faculty coaches over the extended weekend of the College. Whatever the standard of your quartet, it will be with a coaching team who will best be able to help you in your quest for improvement.

Quartets with specific goals are invited to make them known to the Stream Leader in advance of the College. Quartets may send a two song video in support of their application to the Steam Leader. Otherwise, Quartets will be able to share such goals with their coaches during the first Stream session. Quartets are expected to come to the College with at least two songs that are fairly well established in the notes and words departments!

The Quartet Coaching Stream will be restricted in size to the availability of faculty coaches. Register your interest early on the Harmony College web site.

Each small pod of Quartets will work with a matched group of coaches and will experience a range of benefits. You can expect to deal with some of the following -

• Constructing a set of quartet goals with some confidence that they have a significant measure of realism.
• Have the opportunity to evaluate your plans against those mutually agreed goals.
• Evaluate and understand your quartet's strengths and weaknesses. To build on the strengths and mitigate the weaknesses.
• To experience a selected range of coaches whose only desire is to help you sing and perform better
• To understand the reasoning behind any improvements recommended by the coaches.
• To have an opportunity to join with other quartets and share ideas and experiences on selected issues with experienced quartet people and coaches.
• To appreciate and evaluate the wider issues of quartet activities.
• To get better and to have fun!
