Just Intonation

What is it? Is it useful?

On these pages we look at "just intonation", and it's relevance to the barbershop community.

In a nutshell, from a barbershop viewpoint, "just intonation" refers to very small tuning adjustments (away from the 'piano scale') that singers may naturally strive to make, in order to make the chords sound 'locked' - that is, really in tune.

These pages look briefly at the theory, and give you the chance to find out if you can hear the difference that just intonation makes.
